For the second edition of Monthly Matters, we are proud to spotlight Source Artistry, a Cape Town-based art sourcing business established in 2022.
Focused on curating and showcasing original South African artworks, Source Artistry works closely with private and commercial clients to create collections that reflect individuality. From building bespoke collections to repositioning existing pieces, their services transform spaces into artistic expressions. Rooted in storytelling and a deep appreciation for local talent, Source Artistry champions the South African art scene.
In Matter Studio’s Project Vrede, Source Artistry played a key role in enhancing the interior’s cohesive and timeless appeal. Inspired by the walnut finishes and the inviting warmth of the apartment, Matter Studio, curated a selection of artworks with a neutral yet warm palette. Abstract works were combined with pieces reflecting the neighbourhood’s iconic palm trees, all framed in walnut with contrasting black mount boards. This thoughtful pairing ties in with the unit’s black accessories and finishes, creating a connection between art and design.
