LACUNA

VREDEHOEK - CAPE TOWN - SOUTH AFRICA

Single Residential

Influenced by Brazilian modernism, this house was designed to accommodate two families. Emphasising material honesty, raw elements such as concrete and clay are used consistently throughout the design. These varied textures add depth and create warmth, maintaining a uniform colour palette.

Screens are used as feature walls, playing a dual role in casting intricate shadows while ensuring privacy. Skylights are positioned throughout the house flooding the interiors with natural light.
